Potter led the St. John Fisher wrestling team with a first-place finish at 174 pounds on Sunday in the Cardinal Invite at Fisher's Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Athletics Center. Potter, who had a first-round bye, beat Ithaca's Aslanbek Sharipov 21-6 by technical fall in the semifinals. He took down Ithaca's John Hecht 8-5 by decision in the 174-pound first-place bout.
