Makowiec secured a spot at the NCAA Championships in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives after placing top-two in both events at the NCAA Diving Regional Championships last weekend hosted by Ithaca College. He scored 561.40 in the 1-meter, taking first overall and placed second overall in the 3-meter with his score of 545.05. It is his sixth E8 weekly honor of the season.
