Franco finished third at 285 lbs. at the NCAA Region II Championship, held at Lycoming College over the weekend, recording a 3-1 mark to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships. Franco won his first matchup of the day by fall (0:47). In the quarterfinals bout he earned another win, this time by a major decision (13-5) all during day 1. Moving on to day 2, Franco dominated in his matchups, taking the third-place spot at 285 after a huge 8-2 decision over Robbie West of Lycoming. Franco's third place mark qualifies him for the NCAA Division III Championships for the second year in a row. It is Franco’s third E8 weekly accolade of the 2024-25 season.
