Schmitz threw a complete game shutout on Wednesday against Elmira, only allowing six hits and striking out nine batters in the Knights 5-0 win. In her ninth win of the season, Schmitz recorded her season best in strikeouts. At the plate, she went 4-for-7 with three runs scored in Geneseo's doubleheader sweep. It is her third E8 weekly honor of 2025.
