Currier led the way on offense for Alfred State in its 56-20 win over Buffalo State on Saturday, scoring four touchdowns on the ground and two receiving. His six touchdowns tied an Empire 8 record for most touchdowns in a game set by Hartwick wide receiver Jack Phelan on Sept. 6, 2008. Currier tallied 102 yards on 11 carries while tallying 67 yards on four receptions. He began his record-setting night with a 1-yard TD rush just over five minutes into the game before scoring two receiving touchdowns, just 49 seconds apart later in the first quarter, first on a 58-yarder up the seam and then a 3-yard shovel pass. Currier added a 9-yard TD run in the second quarter and 31- and 5-yard runs to the end zone in the third quarter.
