Sorensen led Geneseo to a pair of shutouts this week as they clinched the Empire 8 regular season title and the No. 1 seed for the postseason. Sorensen and the Geneseo defense limited Houghton to just five total shots, then picked up another shutout against SUNY Poly by holding the Wildcats to just three shots. It is Sorenson’s second E8 weekly honor of the season.
