Palmer was outstanding in Saturday’s huge come-from-behind victory over the Brockport Golden Eagles, battling waves of rain and a staunch Golden Eagle secondary as he proved to be the catalyst for Utica’s 28-20 comeback win. Palmer hauled in nine receptions for 137 yards and a trio of touchdowns, connecting with quarterback Tyler Szalkowski on all three of the Pioneers’ offensive scores. His two touchdowns in the second half helped the orange and blue to score 21 points in the second half to rally for the win.
