Orenstein edged Carlos Adrian’s former school record with a time of 7.04 seconds in the preliminaries of the Cornell Relays.  The previous mark of 7.06 seconds was set in 1984.  Orenstein recorded a time of 7.05 seconds in the final and qualified for the ECAC Championships in the event.
