Austin Mansell backstopped the Soaring Eagles to a 1-1 double-overtime tie against the Stevens Institute of Technology. He recorded seven saves – tying his season-best – while registering a season-high .875 save percentage. The EC goalkeeper made five of his seven saves in the second half, including his final save with only 21 ticks left on the clock in the second overtime period to preserve the tie. Making the tie more notable was the fact that the Purple and Gold played the final 22:49 with only 10 men on the field. The tie marked the first time Stevens has not opened E8 play with a victory.
