Freshman Michael Gardiner rallied for a big win at first singles and contributed a win at second doubles as the Ithaca College men’s tennis team beat St. Lawrence 6-3 on Saturday to move to 2-0 on the season. ??Down 5-2 in the third set of the first singles match, Gardiner fought off four match balls and won five straight games to come out victorious and move the momentum in Ithaca's direction. He also teamed with senior Chris Hayes for an 8-5 win at second doubles. The duo trailed 5-3 before winning the final five games to pull out the win.
