Richard Lander earned his first two game-winning goals of the season with Saxon wins over King’s College and Utica College on Wednesday and Friday, respectively. Tuesday’s goal in overtime against King’s was a low, blast of a shot off of a chip pass from Kade McGarrity and throw in from Sam Craver for the two-assist goal with 2:15 remaining in the extra period. Lander’s Empire 8 game-winner was yet another blast to a corner, but this time off of a direct kick from 20 yards out that was placed top-shelf in the back right corner of the net.
