Joelle Goldstein had a huge week in helping Ithaca to a 3-0 record, in the process securing the second seed at the upcoming Empire 8 Tournament. She opened the week with a double-double effort with 14 kills and 11 digs in a five-set thriller against SUNY Oneonta. In the process, Goldstein surpassed the 1,000 career-kill milestone. Goldstein continued her strong play in Saturday's final Empire 8 crossover of the season. She picked up 12 kills and seven digs in IC's three-set win over Utica, while she notched her second double-double of the week with 13 kills and 12 digs against Houghton.
