Senior Peter Girardi of the St. John Fisher College men's track and field team highlighted the day for the Cardinals at the RIT Invite after taking the top spot in the 800-meter dash with a time of 1:56.22, breaking the previous college record. This 800-flat time converts to a banked track time of 1:54.9, which ranks him 17th in the nation. Girardi now holds national position in four separate events.
