Edena Sanchez led Houghton at the RIT Invitational with a second-place finish in the 400 meters and teamed up for first in the 4x400m relay. Sanchez clocked a 1:00.64 in the 400 meters to placed ahead of 22 other competitors. She anchored the 4x400 relay to a winning time of 4:16.42, 6.2 seconds ahead of the runner up and the current top mark in the Empire 8 this season.
