Sydney Masna of the St. John Fisher College women's basketball team played a pivotal role in Fisher's two conference wins last week as Fisher sealed a spot in the upcoming Empire 8 Championship with triumphs over Stevens and Hartwick. The Hebron, Conn. native averaged 12.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists over two starts. Against Stevens, the freshman guard finished with a career-high 14 points and nine boards before contributing 10 points and six rebounds against the Hawks on Saturday. Masna was also a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line last week.
