Senior Erik Diehl competed in The College at Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational on Saturday. In a field of 15 runners, including exhibition runners from individuals not attached to a team, Division I unattached runners, Division II runners from Daemen College and other Division III runners, Diehl won the 500-meter dash with a time of 1:07.81. The time puts him just behind St. John Fisher’s Eddie Mahana and his conference-leading 1:07.26 as both look towards the Empire 8 Indoor Track & Field Championships this Saturday at Houghton College.
