Megan Brown led the Stevens women's basketball team to the Empire 8 Championship Title and was named the tournament's MVP after shooting 51.5% from the field 93.3% from the free throw line. Brown posted 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting with 10 rebounds in the 52-47 title game victory over top-seeded St. John Fisher College. In the semifinal win over Sage, 64-62, Brown netted a career-high 31 points on 11-of-21 from the floor to go along with a career-best 18 rebounds. Brown also recorded the game-winning assist with 18 seconds remaining to give the Ducks the two-point advantage.
