Walker swept all three throwing events and crushed a 37-year-old school record in the hammer throw as RIT opened its outdoor season against three other schools at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday. He won the shot put with a toss of 14.02 meters and the discus in 41.34 meters before his record-setting throw of 55.30 meters in the hammer throw broke the record set by Jon Koch in 1974.
