Luton broke the Nazareth indoor record in the long jump Saturday with a first-place finish at the Houghton Invitational. His leap of 6.57 meters (21 feet, 6 3/4 inches) was more than four inches farther than his previous best in that event. He also finished second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.57, just a couple ticks shy of his personal best of 8.55. He also was seventh in the 200-meter dash (:24.15).
