Cook broke two long-standing St. John Fisher program records last week, while leading the Cardinals to a 107-98 win over visiting Buffalo State on Tuesday. Cook broke a 20-year record after scoring a career-high 47 points as he went 17-for-23 from the field. His 17 field goals also broke a St. John Fisher record that had stood since 1975. Cook also added 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals in the victory. Cook’s 47 points were just two shy of the Empire 8 record for points in a game, set in 2015. It is Cook’s second weekly honor of the 2021-22 season.
