Velasco averaged 22 points per game in a 1-1 week for St. John Fisher, including 26 against conference co-leader Ithaca on Saturday. She added six assists in that game. Velasco shot 13-of-24 from the field and 14-of-15 from the free throw line. She scored a team-high 18 points in the Cardinals’ victory over Utica.
