Ithaca sophomore Sharon Li was the tournament medalist with a score of 143. She posted 2-under-par 70 in the opening round and followed that up with a 73 in Sunday's second round. It is believed to be the first under-par score over a two-day tournament by any Empire 8 player in women's golf history. She was 16 shots better than the nearest competitor, and the score of 70 in the first round was a school-record single round score by an individual. Her total of 143 was a two-day school record by an individual. The Bombers romped to a 24-shot victory in the team scoring and shattered the team scoring marks for single-round and tournament scoring.
