Eells qualified for the NCAA Regional meet and with his time of 8:39.06 in the 3,000-meter run at the Nazareth Challenge Cup on Saturday. He broke a 15-year old program record by nearly two seconds in the event and now has the best time in the Empire 8 in the event this season.
