Empire 8 Breast Cancer Awareness

Student Athlete Advisory Committee's and teams from across the Empire 8 Athletic Conference participated in various promotional activities throughout the fall season, primarly the month of October, to raise awareness and fund for Breast Cancer research in their local areas.  

A total of $11,317 dollars was raised by Empire 8 student-athletes.

American Cancer Society in honor of a former SJFC athlete who battled breast cancer. $708
Stevens Institute of Techonology Friday, Oct. 12 Students were given a Stevens SAAC pink t-shirt that stated “26 sports = 1 sport” and wore on campus for our PINK OUT day.

For any donation students were given a pink wristlet as well.
