What Type of Community Service Have You Done: I have volunteered at Camp Good Days, volunteered at Nativity Preparatory Academy and helped raise money for Opportunities for Broome (non-profit organization)

Plans After Graduation:
I want to enter the field of business analytics. I have an internship with Constellation Brands in the spring, and would love to start my career with a competitive firm like that.

What Do You See Yourself Doing in 5 Years: In five years I would like to have obtained my MBA and be in a management position. I aspire to be an effective leader who uses numbers to make complex business decisions.

What Do You See Yourself Doing in 10-15 Years/What is Your Ultimate Professional Goal: My long-term goal is to be the CEO of a competitive firm. I want to first gain experience and work my way up the corporate ladder, and then eventually lead that company.

Any Interesting or Exciting Internships You Have Done or Are Currently Working On (Where and what did you do or are you doing): I completed an internship for NBT bank two summers ago where I worked in the anti-money laundering portion of the business.  Halfway through the internship I was able to complete a project directly supervised by the CFO. This past summer, I completed a finance internship with Carestream Health. I worked in many different departments such as accounting, finance, treasury, and internal audit. I was able to travel to Hong Kong for two weeks during my time with the internal audit team. This upcoming spring, I will be completing an internship with Constellation Brands and will be working with the internal audit team there.

How Has Playing Collegiately and in the Empire 8 Prepared You For Life After College: I believe that playing college football has given me many skills which will be transferrable in every aspect of life. Skills and experiences such as: teamwork, communication, time management, playing through adversity, and working towards a common goal can all be applied to any situation in life.  In addition, having the mindset that the work you put in today will pay dividends further down the road is invaluable in all aspects of life.

Favorite Athletic Memory from Your Time in College: My favorite athletic memory from college is when we beat Buffalo State, 31-28 in 2018. We won on a last second field goal, and had the opportunity to send off our seniors on a win.  The atmosphere was unbelievable, and I wouldn’t change anything about that day.

Biggest On-Campus Mentor: Coach Paul Vosburgh because he is a great role model for anybody. He is always conscious about his actions and the reasoning behind each decision. He preaches accountability, and embodies it every day.  In addition, Coach Vosburgh is one of the hardest workers I have ever met. He is always prepared, and gets the best out of each player he coaches.

What Have You Learned About Yourself from Freshman to Senior Year: I have learned that setbacks are bound to happen regardless of what you do to prevent them.  You need to battle through adversity, and like Coach Vosburgh always says: “You will never regret hard work.”  Being a student-athlete takes a huge commitment, but these last four years have shown me that if you are determined you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

What Type of Leader Are You: I try to lead by example.  I am vocal when I need to be, but I think actions speak louder than words.

One Thing Most People Do Not Know About You:
I am a fantastic chef.

Advice for Freshmen Teammates or Student-Athletes:
Enjoy your time in college because it flies by.  The relationships that you will make with your teammates will result in some of the closest friends you will ever have.  Don’t take any moment for granted and always push through adversity.  As far as academics go, make sure to develop your time management skills!  As a student athlete you will have much less time than other students and you can make up for this by using your time efficiently.  But above all, have fun because your four years of college go by too fast.
