The Alfred University men’s swimming and diving team was named a 2019 Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for its work in the classroom during the Fall 2019 semester.
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) selected a record 762 programs from 480 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2019 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2019 grade-point averages, which must be a 3.0 or better and represent 17,685 student-athletes.
Alfred recorded a team GPA of 3.06 during the fall semester.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
