All ten Empire 8 Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams earned Scholar All-America Team accolades by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their work in the classroom during the Spring 2026 semester.
The CSCAA selected 714 teams from 418 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2026 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2026 grade point averages and represent 16,680 student-athletes.
On the women’s side, Hartwick Collefe recorded a team GPA of 3.57 during the spring semester to lead the Empire 8, Alfred University was behind them with a 3.54, while Nazareth University and SUNY Geneseo tied with 3.50 and SUNY Brockport had a 3.43.
The Nazareth men had a team GPA of 3.42 with Geneseo behind them at 3.34. Brockport held a 3.24 GPA while Hartwick came in at 3.18 and Alfred with 3.10.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
