Seniors Nicholas Miller, Jack Mulvihill, and Joe Post of the nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College men's lacrosse team were named 2021 Preseason All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

All three student-athletes were named third team All-Americans for the secomd season in a row.

Miller, who was named a Preseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse heading into the 2020 campaign, led the Cardinals with 13 goals last year. The junior tallied four scores in each of Fisher's spring break games in Florida against Clark and Misericordia. He went on to add a hat trick in the final game of the season on March 11 at No. 10 Union. The Ithaca native racked up six assists for 19 points in 2020 and gathered six ground balls.

To date, Miller is approaching several milestones as he needs just 16 goals and 38 total points to become the program's all-time leader in both categories. Miller, who currently sits at 187 career points, needs just 13 to become just the second player in Fisher's history to eclipse 200 points.

One of the top face-off specialists in Division III, Post, ranked fifth in the nation last season with 69 ground balls. The Canandaigua native won the 11th most face-offs in the nation with 98 and his .715 faceoff win percentage was 17th best in all of Division III. Post recorded his first career multi-goal game in the 2020 season opener against Ithaca on February 22. Post was named to the USILA D3 Team of the Week on February 25 and earned Empire 8 Player of the Week recognition on March 2.

Entering the 2021 season, Post, like Miller, has his sights set on the Cardinals' record book.  Currently, he ranks second with 456 ground balls – just 58 shy of breaking the all-time mark held by Hall-of-Famer Dave Wood.

Mulvihill was also named Third-Team All-American leading into the season as the midfielder registered 16 points in five games last year including nine goals and seven dimes.  Mulvihill, who was elected to the Division III Management Council earlier this year, owns 54 career goals and 85 total points.

All three were named United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-Americans at the conclusion of the 2019 season.
