Nazareth's Jeremy Jacob named to the 2021 USILA Scholar All-American team

Nazareth senior lacrosse standout Jeremy Jacob has been selected to the Division III Scholar All-American team by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. The awards were announced on the USILA website earlier this week.

Jacob, an attackman from Pittsford, N.Y., was an honorable mention All-American selection in 2021 after leading the Golden Flyers in scoring for the second year in a row with 36 points on 22 goals and 14 assists. He also was a first-team Empire 8 Conference selection. For his career, Jacob has 132 points on 84 goals, 48 assists. In the classroom, Jacob has a 3.39 grade-point average as a business management major.

To earn USILA Scholar All-America honors, a student-athlete must be a senior academically and possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Additionally, a student-athlete must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player.

Nazareth's lacrosse team also was recognized with a the Academic Team Award with its team GPA of 3.17 for the spring semester.
