Alfred, Hartwick and Nazareth Swimming and Diving Programs Garner CSCAA 2021 Fall Scholar All-America Honor

The Alfred University, Hartwick College and Nazareth College women’s swimming and diving teams earned  Scholar All-America Team accolades by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their work in the classroom during the Fall 2021 semester. In addition, the Hartwick and Nazareth men’s programs were honored as well.
 
The CSCAA selected 728 teams from 450 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2021 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2021 grade point averages and represent 18,029 student-athletes.
 
On the women’s side, Nazareth recorded a team GPA of 3.43 during the fall semester to lead the Empire 8, just ahead of Alfred, who was right behind with a 3.42 mark. Hartwick had a team GPA of 3.10.
 
The Nazareth men had a team GPA of 3.20 during the fall semester to pace the E8 men’s programs, while Hartwick qualified with a 3.10 mark.  

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation’s first organization of college coaches.
