Nazareth College senior defender Emma Parry, and St. John Fisher College senior defender Alexandra Strollo will represent the Empire 8 in the 2022 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game in Sparks, MD at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 5.

The IWLCA has selected 129 players across Divisions I, II and III to play in the Senior All-Star games. The players selected in each Division have been divided into two teams: North and South. The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, MD on Sunday, June 5. The Division III teams will play the first game at 11:00 a.m., the Division I game will follow at 12:45 p.m., and the Division II teams will cap off the event with their game at 2:30 p.m. Admission for all three games is free of charge.

A native of Camillus, NY, Parry recent earned IWLCA Third Team All-America honors and was the first Nazareth player selected since 2006. Earlier in the post-season, she was named as a first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star for the second year in a row and was chosen as the league's Defensive Player of the Year.

In 2022, Parry had one goal and two assists and set single-season Nazareth records with 95 draw controls and 45 caused turnovers. She also led the team with 55 ground balls.

A First-Team All-Region honoree, Strollo becomes the first senior to be selected from Fisher since 2019 when both Molly Tice and Mary Grace Doyle represented the Cardinal and Gold. Strollo, a native of Big Flats, NY, earned All-Empire 8 first team accolades in a breakout senior campaign that saw her lead the Cardinals with 31 caused turnovers while her 37 ground balls and 73 draw controls were second overall on the roster.

After making her first collegiate start in the season-opener, Strollo headlined a defensive unit that allowed the fewest goals in the conference after yielding just eight goals per game over 19 contests.
