The SUNY Cortland offensive line of

Ryan Bitka,
Jack McGrath and
Cody Aikey was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week on Tuesday, Oct. 10. It is the second consecutive season that the Cortland offensive line was honored as part of the D3football.com Team of the Week.
Cortland rushed for 360 yards, the fifth-best total in school history and the best since 2007, as the nationally-ranked Red Dragons defeated previously unbeaten and nationally-ranked Utica University, 56-3 on Saturday afternoon. The Red Dragons averaged 6.9 yards per rush and scored five rushing touchdowns.
The offensive line has helped Cortland average 543 yards of offense per game in 2023, second in all of Division III. The Red Dragons are averaging 254.6 rushing yards and 288.4 passing yards per contest. In addition, Cortland is seventh nationally, scoring 49.4 points per game.
League play continues for the Empire 8 on Saturday, Oct. 14, as Cortland, who is ranked No. 17 in the D3football.com poll and No. 19 in the AFCA Division III poll hosts Alfred University at 1 p.m. Utica hosts SUNY Morrisville at 12 p.m., while Hartwick College hosts St. John Fisher University at 2:30 p.m.
