WEBSTER, NY – The Hartwick College men and Penn State Behrend women won team titles at the 2024 Allegheny Empire 8 Swimming and Diving Championship, held at the Webster Aquatic Center from February 14-17.
The Hawks of Hartwick earned their first Allegheny Empire title with 988 points, just edging out Penn State Behrend, who finished with 977.5 points. Alfred University (907), defending champion Alfred State College (898) and Penn State Altoona (566.5) rounded out the top five.
Penn State Behrend won its first Allegheny Empire women’s championship, taking the team title with 1,090.5 points, edging out three-time defending champion Nazareth University, who finished with 1,050 points. Alfred State College placed third with 825 points, while Hartwick was fourth (709) and Alfred University finished fifth (509).
