SUNY Geneseo Finishes 22nd at 2025 NCAA Women's Cross Country Championships

SPARTANBURG, SC – The SUNY Geneseo women's cross-country team traveled to Milliken Research Park in South Carolina to compete at the NCAA Division III Championship meet on Saturday morning. The Knights capped off a great 2025 season by finishing 22nd overall at the meet.

Ann Brennan finished as the top runner for Geneseo, placing 83rd at 22:42.2. Sierra Doody would be the next Knight to cross the finish line at 22:53.9 as she set the tone for a strong finish to the race for the Knights, moving up 31 spots in the final kilometer of the race. Shortly behind Doody was Kaitlyn Hotaling who finished at 22:59.3, improving 20 spots in the final section of the race. Jillian O'Rourke was right being Hotaling, crossing the finish line at 23:17.8. Alexa Kosier (24:13.5), Ari Reback (24:25.9), & Annika Hurley (24:58.3) rounded out the top-seven for the Knights as they all passed multiple runners to close out their season.

The Knights finish off the 2025 season claiming their 14th straight conference championship, a second place finish at the Niagara Regional Championship, and their 26th straight NCAA Championship appearance.
