The Empire 8 Conference announced its 2025 Empire 8 Women’s Lacrosse Championship All-Tournament Team on Wednesday, May 7. Junior midfielder Kaley Griffin of St. John Fisher University was named the Empire 8 Tournament Most Valuable Player after leading the Cardinals to their 13th consecutive Empire 8 Championship over the weekend.
Griffin tallied seven points on six goals and an assist to go along with nine draw controls in the two Empire 8 Tournament contests. She scored five goals and had two draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover in the E8 semifinal win over Nazareth University on May 1. Griffin grabbed seven draw controls, scored a goal. And added an assist in St. John Fisher’s 13-6 win over SUNY Geneseo in the title game on Saturday. Griffin earned her second straight E8 Women’s Lacrosse Championship All-Tournament accolade and was one of five St. John Fisher student-athletes to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
