Eight Empire 8 Swimming and Diving Programs Garner CSCAA 2025 Spring Scholar All-America Honor

The Alfred University, SUNY Geneseo and Hartwick College and Nazareth University men's and women’s swimming and diving teams earned Scholar All-America Team accolades by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their work in the classroom during the Spring 2025 semester.
 
The CSCAA selected 763 teams from 432 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2025 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2024 grade point averages and represent 18,459 student-athletes.
 
On the women’s side, Alfred recorded a team GPA of 3.72 during the spring semester to lead the Empire 8, Nazareth was behind them with a 3.56, while Geneseo had a 3.55 and Hartwick with 3.33.
 
The Hartwick men had a team GPA of 3.33, Geneseo with 3.26, Alfred right behind them with 3.24 and Nazareth finished up the group with 3.07.
