INDIANAPOLIS, IN - SUNY Geneseo's men's swimming and diving team moved to 17th overall after day three of the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, held at the IU Natatorium on Friday, March 20. The Knights have 47 team points, while the Geneseo women sit 30th overall with 11 points.
Meder put up another great performance in the 1-meter dive on Friday, taking fourth place and earning First Team All-American honors with a score of 486.05.
Alex Palmer earned a spot in the 100 yard breaststroke with his prelim time of 54.52, and finishing in 11th in finals with a time of 54.29, earning Second Team All-American honors, while
Jake Nielsen went on to finish in 22nd at 55.14.
On Friday, Geneseo's 200-yard medley team of
Alex Sotek,
Emily Thomas,
Erin Johannsen and
Sibby Lowe opened the day with a 17th place finish with a time of 1:43.90. Thomas followed it up with a stellar performance in the 100 yard breaststroke, taking 19th with a time of 1:03.76.
The final day of competition gets underway on Saturday with prelims action starting at 10 a.m.
