The Empire 8 Conference announced its 2026 Empire 8 Men’s Lacrosse Championship All-Tournament Team on Tuesday, May 5. Senior goalkeeper Tyler Manning of St. John Fisher College was named the Empire 8 Tournament Most Valuable Player after recording an 8.19 goals against average and recording a .628 save percentage in a pair of E8 Tournament games as the Cardinals rolled to their seventh straight league title.
Manning stopped nine shots, including seven of the last 10 shots on goal he faced from the second quarter on in St. John Fisher’s 18-9 win over No. 3 seed SUNY Geneseo in semifinal action on Thursday, April 30. Manning stopped a season-high 18 shots, seven in the first half and 11 in the second half to record a remarkable save percentage of .720 in Saturday’s 14-7 E8 Championship win at top-seed Nazareth. Manning was one of four St. John Fisher student-athletes to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
