Erik Schleicher is the individual leader after day one, carding a one-under 71. He was lone golfer to break even par and holds a three-shot lead over
Jake Costa of Nazareth College.
Day two gets underway on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. The 2019-20 league champion is determined from results of the Fall Championship, followed up by the Spring Championship, which will take place on April 18-19, 2020 at Hershey Country Club. St. John Fisher has won the last nine Empire 8 Championships.
