St. John Fisher Holds Slim Lead After Day One of 2021-22 Empire 8 Fall Men’s Golf Championship

St. John Fisher holds a slim lead after day one of the 2021-22 Empire 8 Fall Men’s Golf Championship, held at Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville, NY on Saturday, Oct. 2. The Cardinals hold a three-stroke lead over Oswego State, while Utica College and Russell Sage College are right beind within 10 strokes of the team lead. Russell Sage’s Austin Carpenter is the individual leader after day one, carding a two-under 74. He holds a one-shot lead over Oswego's Ryan Fecco.

Day two gets underway on Sunday, Oct. 3 at 11 a.m. The 2021-22 league champion is determined from results of the Fall Championship, followed up by the Spring Championship, which will take place on April 15-16, 2022 at Hershey Country Club. Utica is the defending Empire 8 Champion.
