ALBANY, NY. – Before defeating visiting Keuka 6-0 on Saturday afternoon, Russell Sage College Women's Soccer honored eight student-athletes for their contributions to the program. Among the honorees was Gianna Viscusi ( Duanesburg, NY/Schalmont), who set an Empire 8 and program single-game record ten points on four goals and two assists in the home victory.
The senior, who closed the afternoon leading the Empire 8 Conference with 1.58 points per-game,scored a trio of goals in the first half to help the Gators hold a 4-0 lead at the break. The senior added a fourth goal late in the second half, marking a career-high and tying a program record for goals in a single game.
The hat trick was Viscusi's second of the season, the other coming in the win at Elmira on September 24.
