Twenty-four Empire 8 student-athletes from five different institutions earned 2022 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Outdoor Track and Field All-Atlantic Region honors. St. John Fisher University led the way with 10 different student-athletes, who earned All-Region accolades, while Utica University was right behind with nine. Nazareth College had three student-athletes honored, while Alfred University and Russell Sage College each had one honoree.
To earn All-Region honors, an athlete must be one of the top-5 individuals in their event in their respective region on the TFRRS Descending Order List. In addition, each member of a region’s top-3 relay team was selected for the distinction.
