Eight Student-Athletes to Represent Empire 8 at 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships from St. John Fisher

The 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships qualifiers were announced on Friday, May 19 with a total of eight student-athletes from the Empire 8 Conference qualifying to compete for national titles.
 
The meet will run May 25-27 from the Polisseni Track and Field Complex on the campus of Empire 8 institution St. John Fisher University in Pittsford, NY. Live video of the meet will be available at NCAA.com.
 
There are a total of six individuals accepted to compete at the women’s national competition, while a pair of individuals accepted to compete at the men’s national competition. Utica University junior Hunter Logan will look for his second straight outdoor All-American accolade in the shot put after finishing third in 2022. Veronica Duell and Michaela Kurbs competed at nationals in the long jump in 2022 as well. Five of the eight are competing at the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the first time.
